From getting ready in the amazing bridal suite to the gorgeous ceremony on the water! The lodge provided cold & delicious drinks to quench everyone’s thirst! A variety of sized cabins allowed us and our guest a place to stay and enjoy the weekend! Holly is absolutely fantastic to work with and such a huge help with planning and making sure that every detail of your day is everything you want it to be! Even with a change in a few things due to a new discovered food allergy, she was able to help find alternatives and make it everything we wanted! Holly and the Maine Lakeside Cabin team really know how to make a wedding weekend go by smoothly! Catering from Inn by the River was perfection! Our cake and cupcakes (vegan ones mind you) from The Bankery was the best cake I have ever had! And our flowers from The Skowhegan Fleuriste were gorgeous just like the ones in my inspiration pictures! Thank you for making our wedding day a complete DREAM COME TRUE!"

Being able to rent the venue for 3 days was amazing and very convenient for many of our family and friends who traveled from away. They could stay on site at the cabins, which gave me more time to visit with them. "Our wedding was this past weekend after having to cancel last summer - I can not recommend this place enough! The cabins, lodge and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Holly and Cindy were incredibly receptive to my every need and the day was perfect down to the last detail. I even forgot to feed myself the morning of the wedding so Cindy just whipped up a pizza for me while I sat in hair and makeup and saved the day! "I highly recommend getting married at Maine Lakeside Cabins in Caratunk!! From start to finish we have had such an amazing experience from planning with Holly to getting cabin assignments together with Cindy to riding the pontoon with Holly’s husband! This crew is truly the full package!! Holly offers several tiers of planning services with the venue, the one we chose had Holly handling our cake, catering, and floral vendors entirely so it was quite a weight off our shoulders. I was able to rent flatware, glassware, and linens all through the venue. Almost our entire guest list was able to stay on site in the cabins and those we didn’t were right across the street at the sterling in or down the road at inn by the river! The cabins are fully furnished so it was very convenient for our guests traveling from out of state. And the views of the lake are absolutely stunning!! It is clear Holly has trained her crew to value strong customer service skills as she does herself. Every single detail was just absolutely perfect and the whole crew was so friendly and kind! I have stayed here for white water rafting trips, weekend getaway always with friends, and now our wedding! "MLC was the best choice we made for our wedding day. When we saw the venue for the first time, we knew it was the one. Holly & Cindy helped us through my infinite emails and planning questions. The setting was gorgeous- and ALL IN ONE PLACE! Our guests love that there was availability to stay on site after the wedding. There are so many options for each event on site and they are all equally gorgeous. On the day of, we brought all of our decor and items in boxes, and by the time my hair was done, the wedding was exactly as I'd pictured! "I do not know if there are appropriate words to express just how enjoyable of an experience it was to celebrate our marriage at Maine Lakeside Cabins. We eloped last year (also in Maine) and wanted to plan a 4-day, true-to-lakeside-Maine, celebration with family and friends. A total of 60 people traveled to Maine and joined us for white water rafting (through Northern Outdoors - highly recommend!), jet skiing, pontoon boat rides, WONDERFUL food (including a traditional Lobster Bake with mussels and a reception meal, served family style). Rachel was amazing to work with to plan every detail – our Google Doc is something to behold! Rachel was always there to ask how she could help and what she could do. I strongly suspect she doesn’t require sleep – that, or she has an identical twin! I cannot say enough good things about working with her! We chose to come to MLC the Sunday before everyone else arrived. That’s when we met Holly and Ben. Holly and Ben are most welcoming and ACCOMODATING people -- they made us and all our guests feel like friends. The number of stories that we’ve heard from our guests about how Holly and Ben made their experience personal, proves what a unique and special place Maine Lakeside Cabins is!"

The setting is so beautiful, the cabins are lovely, the staff is beyond amazing! All of our guests told us multiple time throughout our wedding weekend they just wanted to come back and spend a week here! HOLLY! Holly is the most amazing wedding coordinator! If you get married here, you have to do the day of coordination! I spent zero time on my wedding weekend stressed about anything! Holly and her amazing staff took care of everything! We also got to work with Rachael throughout our planning process who was also fabulous! "We got married at Maine Lakeside Cabins on October 17, 2015. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. You are in the heart of the woods of Maine right on the water. The views are phenomenal. They have a lodge, barn, you can use a tent for the reception and they have cabins on site. The lodge is so well put together. It is like a rustic log lodge. They just redid their bar and it is gorgeous. They have a gas fireplace inside and a pool table with nice sofas. It is a nice homey cozy feel to it. The barn is a legit rustic barn. It is absolutely gorgeous inside. Then all of their cabins can sleep about 10 guests each and they are really nice. We had the majority of our guests stay on site and it was so nice having everyone so close. And everyone loved the cabins. It is also nice because everything is right there - the ceremony site, the lodge, tent and barn. They also have a really nice firepit for people to enjoy right by the lodge. Each cabin also has their own fire pit for guests to use. I honestly can't say enough amazing things about how great this venue is. If you want a rustic woodsy theme to your wedding this is the place for it. All of our guests loved it! Then on top of that you have Holly who helps you with your wedding. She is amazing. She really helped the day of the wedding with getting everything set up and making sure we had everything. She is really responsive throughout the planning process and is really great to bounce ideas off of. She has done plenty of weddings and has great ideas and advice. I would highly recommend using Maine Lakeside Cabins as your venue! Perfect place to get married!!!"
